My Story

Michael Barrett's journey as an artist is nothing short of inspiring. Though he didn't formally study Art in Secondary Education, his passion for creativity knew no bounds. Instead, he lived through the world of Drama, a path that would uniquely influence his artistic style later in life. It wasn't until he entered Coventry University, where he pursued a degree in Fine Art, that his talents began to be recognized on a larger scale.

Following his graduation in 2012, Barrett embarked on a self-taught artistic journey. This period of exploration and growth culminated in the formation of Mickey Mowse in 2025, a testament to his dedication and evolution as an artist. What sets Michael apart is his adaptability and constant yearning to master different techniques and mediums. Drawing has always been second nature to him, a skill honed over years of persistent practice and unyielding passion.
